LET THERE BE LIGHT KINGDOM COMMISSION
Restoring lives. Raising leaders. Revealing Christ.
Let There Be Light Christian Residential Academy is being established as a Christ-centered day, boarding, and residential-restoration academy in Jamaica, designed to restore vulnerable children and prepare Kingdom leaders for Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the world.
A Flagship instituition being developed in phases

Restoring lives.
Raising leaders.
Revealing Christ.
A Christ-centered day, boarding, and residential-restoration academy being established in St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica. Every child deserves someone who believes in them, at the exact moment it matters.
A FLAGSHIP INSTITUTION BEING DEVELOPED IN PHASES
OUR FOUNDATION
Jesus Christ is Lord of this Academy, and of everything we do within it.
Not a value we hold. The authority we answer to. Every policy, every programme, every hire, and every decision is measured against one question: does this reflect the heart of Christ for these children?
Why St. Elizabeth
Because God said St. Elizabeth.
There was no market study, no site ranking, no strategic rationale offered to us first. There was an instruction, and there was obedience to it.
Everything that has followed, the incorporation, the governance, the curriculum, the search for ground, has been the work of catching up to what He already said.
Their destinies should not be impacted negatively because of the hurricane.
Their identity is found in Christ.
LATOYA SHEA, FOUNDER

How Restoration Happens Here
Love is the vehicle. The Holy Spirit is the one who transforms.
Nothing at LTBL is delivered without love, because nothing without love has ever restored a child. Programmes do not heal. Buildings do not heal. Love, carried by people who stay, is the vehicle the Spirit uses.

The Fruit of the Spirit is not decoration on our curriculum. It is the framework every child's restoration is built on, named, taught, modelled, and grown week by week.

From the Founder
This began as obedience, not a business plan.
A conviction that God was calling His people to restore vulnerable children through love, education, discipleship, and compassionate care. What started as a vision is now incorporated, governed, and moving toward January 2027.

ONE ACADEMY, THREE PATHWAYS
No child is labeled. No child is separated.
Children arrive by three different doors and sit in the same classroom, eat at the same table, and wear the same crest.
