It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, life, conduct, governance, and truth. All decisions, policies, and direction of this Academy shall remain subject to the authority of Scripture.

2 · THE ONE TRUE GOD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is sovereign over all creation, holy, righteous, loving, just, and perfect in wisdom. He is the Creator of heaven and earth and the source of all life.

3 · JESUS CHRIST

​

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for the sins of humanity, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory. Jesus Christ is the centre of this Academy, the foundation of this work, and the only way to salvation. Apart from Him, there is no life, no redemption, no goodness, and no true restoration.

4 · SALVATION

​

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works, but is the free gift of God. Through repentance and faith in Christ, we receive forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life.

5 · THE HOLY SPIRIT

​

We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts, regenerates, sanctifies, comforts, empowers, and guides believers into truth. The Holy Spirit equips us for holy living, wise leadership, and faithful service. This Academy depends upon the leading and wisdom of the Holy Spirit at all times.

6 · THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

We believe in the love of God and that it is His will that no one should perish, but for all to be saved and come to the fullness of the knowledge of Him in Christ Jesus. Every child entrusted to this Academy shall be treated as valuable, chosen, and deeply loved by God. No child shall be defined by trauma, abandonment, or brokenness. Their identity is found in Christ.

7 · THE CALLING OF CHILDREN

We believe children are a gift from the Lord and are to be protected, nurtured, discipled, educated, and prepared for their God-given purpose. This Academy exists to restore vulnerable children through Christ-centred care, healing, education, leadership development, and spiritual formation. We believe the Light of Jesus Christ must first shine in the hearts of children so that His light may spread through streets, communities, nations, and generations.

8 · MARRIAGE, FAMILY, AND BIBLICAL ORDER

We believe God established family as a foundational institution for nurture, accountability, and growth. We affirm Biblical order, godly leadership, moral purity, and righteous conduct within this Academy and all its leadership. Children flourish where truth, love, discipline, safety, and godly instruction are present.

9 · THE GREAT COMMISSION

We believe the Church is called to make disciples of all nations. This Academy exists not only to educate and care for children, but to disciple them in Christ, helping them discover their identity, calling, and purpose in Him. We believe the Kingdom of God is advanced through transformed lives.

10 · KINGDOM MULTIPLICATION

​

We believe the Lord calls His people to bear fruit, multiply, and release His love, provision, and truth into the earth. This Academy exists to multiply the fruits of God's Kingdom by raising leaders, restoring lives, sharing His abundance, and extending His love to nations. We believe what begins in one child can reach many generations.

11 · CHRIST-CENTRED GOVERNANCE

We believe Jesus Christ must remain the head of this Academy in every generation. All governance, leadership, curriculum, partnerships, operations, and policies shall remain submitted to Biblical truth and the Lordship of Jesus Christ at all times. No funding source, governing body, partnership, or expansion effort shall override the Christ-centred mission of this Academy. The Founder and Board are entrusted to protect this order.

Let There Be Light Christian Residential Academy exists to glorify God, advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ, restore vulnerable children, and bring the Kingdom of God into all nations through Christ-centred education, healing, discipleship, leadership, and restoration. We affirm that Jesus Christ is, and shall forever remain, the foundation, centre, and Lord of this Academy. May His Light so shine in us and in the hearts of children until it reaches every street, every community, every nation, and the whole earth is filled with the fragrance of the Lord.
